Electrical and mechanical equipment suppliers North & Robertson E. L. (Pty) Ltd have been part of the East London business community for more than 60 years and have been a significant hand in the development of the city and its industries. The company has been a member of the Border/Kei Chamber of Business for more than 50 years and this year was a finalist in the inaugural Border/Kei Chamber of Business Awards.

The company operates from its premises in Recreation Road and has over the years built a solid client base in and outside the region, supplying local companies, Eskom, Municipalities with a wide range of electrical products, low voltage switchgear, electric cable and lighting supplies.

North & Robertson have an exceptionally dedicated and loyal staff of 40, many of whom have spent many years with the company. Included in this long serving team is Brian Tiltmann, 48 years, Doreen Louw 34 years, Princess Tshwela and Kansile Lungane with 23 years each. We pride ourselves on the fact that our staff can provide excellent service on a 24 hour a day, seven days a week basis.

The Directors Paddy De Lacy and Brenden Tiltmann joined the company in 1990 and 1992 respectively and became Directors in 1996.
